If you enjoy a drink every now and then, keep your cash at home if you set out to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Clean out your pocketbook, your billfold, and keep all money, charge cards and checks back at the hotel. Only take whatever cash you expect to use on beverages, tipping and few dollars you anticipate to throw away and keep the rest behind.
Cynical? Not at all. Just realistic. You might experience a win after a boozy night out with your buddies and be blessed enough to catch a marathon toss at a smokin craps game. Hang on to that account seeing that it is as short-lived as it gets if you consistently drink alcohol and gamble. These activities simply don’t mix.
Keeping your cash back at the hotel is a bit dramatic, but defensive actions for dramatic behavior is essential. If you gamble to profit, then don’t drink alcohol and bet. If you like to blow your assets without a concern, then consume all the no charge beer you are able to handle, but do not pack charge cards and checkbooks to toss into the mix of going after squanderings after your drunken brain loses all the cash!
Allow me to carry this one step more. do not consume alcohol and then go on to the internet to bet in your preferred casino either. I love to drink from the coziness of my apartment, but due to the fact that I am hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and have plastic credit near by, I can not consume alcohol and bet.
What’s the reason? Despite the fact that I don’t drink to excess, once I consume alcohol, it is certainly enough to blur my better judgment. I bet, so I don’t drink when betting. If you are a drinker, don’t gamble when you do. Both make for an awful, and costly, drink.
